-We have countless needs.
-We create our own problems.
-We force ourselves to find solutions to be able to survive.
-We have thoughts.
-We have feelings.
-...etc.
Sometimes, I do wonder why we can't be as simple as other breathing creatures? I've always wanted a simple life with no pressure and nothing to worry about.
-Play endlessly like a dog. (they are better treated than human beings)
-Sleep endlessly like a pig. (has to be in my comfy-bed and not a mud-bath)
-...etc.
We only have two primary needs... food and shelter. The other needs are made-up by the society in which we live in. Animals don't get sucked in into that nonsense.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I'd hate to be the guy on the computer... he seems to be followed by a bunch of armed man... and a monkey!
Not-So-Quick response to "the real slim shady": Primary needs also include clothing (aka. protection from your environment). And sex (aka. reproduction).
ReplyDeleteAnd speaking of animals....their lives aren't simple at all, it's about time we stopped being so humanocentric and did a bit of research. You'll realize pretty quick just how complex their lives are. Even plants have feelings, for Christ's sake.
Nora: Aaaah, le Boston est trop cute XD
We can easily be "simple", you just have to become enlightened ^_~
Got to admit sex is a primary need, clothing... I don't know if it's primary or secondary.
ReplyDeleteAs for the animals, it's all a matter of knowing your place in the nature (who's a predator, who they can feed on). Human tend to denaturalize their basic instincts.
