Still Breathing

I knew I wasn't going to have much time to update my blog, I told you haven't I? Anyhow, I should make an effort to keep it alive. So, to give you a quick update:

(Due to my extreme laziness, hope you don't mind me doing it in point form)

    - Work everyday from 0700-1500.
    - Lost the position I was 80% sure to get, because I'm already trained and working there. The person who got it, her mother works in the same office. Aaaargh!!! That explains why I didn't even get the chance to go through the interview and written test.
    - Hurt my neck and back, but already doing better after a week.
    - Quarrel with sister on insignificant things. (Yah! We're still childish.)
    - Watch the Euro Cup. (Sadly, Germany lost against Italy in the semis, because they didn't use all their best players. Klose, Reus, Lahm, Ozil, Muller, Cacau, Mertesacker, Podolski, Jansen, Gomez, Schweinsteiger, Boateng, and Friedrich.)
    - Bought 4 Germany jerseys. (1 original, #11, #16, and #21)
    - Go out and spend money like crazy with friends. (It's Summer and we can use a little more of sunshine.)
    - Went to see 'Snow White and The Huntsman' and 'Brave'.
    - Went to the Old Port for a yummy brunch at the Jardin Nelson and see Amaluna. (Thank you Candice and Doudou for the wonderful birthday gift.)
    - Constantly seeking friends for outdoor activities.

That pretty much sums up the gap since my last post. I'll try my best to update more often. You have my word for it.

Little realization: May is movie month...Super Heroes movies month.

Destiny!!! That is the sole explanation of why I love to sit myself in front of the screen and don't mind being there for the whole day.

Too Fat Too Furious

*cries* I got fat and struggling badly to lose that fat...without success.

What should I do??? Any suggestions?

First thing first, is to betray my love for Carbs...or should I just be stone-hearted and get a painful divorce. ~^_^~ No more sandwiches, pastas, cakes, etc.

Then, I should plan a happily-ever-after marriage with Sports.

Okay. Lets do this.

PS. I'll never date Starve. Not good for me...mentally and healthwise.

Ophthalmo Dinner

The past Thursday, I was invited to a semi-formal appreciation-dinner hosted by all St. Mary's Ophthalmologists.

1- I am delighted that they recognize my work and consider me as a member of their family. So happy to be able to blend in. WIN.
2- A very kind co-worker came to pick me up and drove me home after the night is over. WIN.
3- Got the chance to learn a lot of inside infos/gossips. WIN.
4- The place was gorgeous and the food was delicious. WIN.
5- Some people was completely over-dressed and others are under-dressed. WIN (for me).

Conclusion: if they invite me again next year, I would bring a camera to take pictures of the place and the people...the whole event was a success.

Seriously. Not anyone can carry the name Cleopatra (especially if you are to ruin it by writting it with a K...Kleopatra) and Aphrodite. I grant you my permission only if you have Monica Bellucci's figure.

Sidenote: Speaking of names, I have a justified reason to change my last name. Not to change it completely, but just the orthograph so that people can pronounce it correctly. That's okay~ Right?!?

Charlize Theron Is Outshining Kristen Stewart And Julia Roberts

Tomorrow is Snow White and the Huntsman's Premiere. Everyone is busy talking about Charlize Theron as the evil queen in Snow White and the Huntsman. Miss Theron is stealing Kristen Stewart's spotlight/thunder (not that she has any, but she's still incarnating Snow White, right?). Me love. Me love.

Queen Ravenna is suppose to be the thirstiest and most desperate person for eternal beauty. So, she must be the evil person who would do anything to aspire Snow White's youth and beauty (if she has any). Julia Robert as the Queen is a major FAIL. Charlize Theron - WIN.

Look at KStew. Which part of her looks like Snow White? Which part of her can possibly win the Queen?

Anyhow~ No doubt,  Charlize is at the top of her game—she is the real star.

So, who do you think will come out on top as the fairest of them all?

My ideal answer: Queen Ravenna.

A person who won't come back nor call once a year...a person who's careless, had the guts to tell my grand-mama not to work too much and ask sista and I whenever she needs anything. He was literally saying that we should take better care of granny.

Pfffff!!! Like if I don't do enough. Well~ I can surely and loudly say that at least I'm doing more than him. Moreover, a person of my grand-mama's age needs to move a little and not always lie in her bed.

Anyway. Can you believe this??? This is ridiculous.

Getting Started

What a way to kick off Summer 2012.

This past Victoria long-weekend, I lived up to my own promise...do more outdoor activities with friends or family or by myself.

    - Shopping at Marche Central.
    - Shop at Plaza St-Hubert. - Welcomed a new member to my Iron Man family.
    - A good ice cream at Dairy Queen. - Heard an interesting conversation.
    - 3 hours biking at Red River.
    - Peaceful walk at Angrignon Park.
    - At home BBQ.

I'm really looking forward to more new and exciting activities. Can't wait. Can't.

The Post of Hate

I don't know if you do that too, but when I walk down the street or take public transportation, I tend to observe the others (what they wear and how they act), which is a surprisingly fun and highly educational past-time. Otherwise, what else to do, right? Listen to music? Well, that's what I do, but my eyes are still available. Anyway. When I'm tired, the over attentive staring isn't a fun activity anymore. Everyone's behaviour strike into my eyes like a big fat brown mole...with hair standing out.

    - Crying babies with their volume set to the maximum.
    - Bugs who won't leave me alone.
    - Teens with their pointless conversations.
    - People marching like a soldier and hitting me on the face with their umbrella.
    - Crossing legs in the metro, causing snow water dripping on my boots.
    - Super big fur-hood getting on my hair.
    - People pushing eventhough you're already against the wall.
    - Chewing gum like a mad cow.

The #1 thing I couldn't stand, is when people cut their nails in public...mostly China mainlanders. What a shame! Please, don't associate me with them or else I'd be utterly pissed. I am from HK. Is that clear???
