There is nothing more deplorable than today, 14th of February. What is there to celebrate anyway? Have people ever thought about those who might not have a date? TSK!!!
For some people, today's an opportunity to show some love to their honey/bb/sweetheart (declare what's been in their heart for a long time which they never had the courage to tell; prove that they still care and love each other; think of the only important one in their life who may not be around anymore)...with an exceptional evening and/or an extraordinary gift.
For other people, today's a great occasion to make money from those with their head in the pink cloud. Selling all sorts of imaginable and inimaginable things: cards, candies, flowers, plush toys, spa packages, jewelries, etc.
To me, it's just another simple 24 hours day like all others. Nothing special.
Note: If there's a day to honor lovers...shouldn't we also have one called International Single People Day???
