X-Mas And New Year Resume

Christmas and New Year vacation was fun, but not as exciting as I expected (images from my imagination. I do daydream a lot.). Parties, gifts, cinema, karaoke, mah jong, etc.
Christmas Parties
  • The one with my co-workers was...cough cough...fun, if there were only people from my department. If you take a look at the pictures, you'll immediately notice that they are about the same age as me and have a better look. I'm not trying to be mean, but it really is a fact.
  • The one with Viviane and HSK at Kanda was...WEIRD. I just realise that there are still people out there who doesn't know how to eat sushi, don't have a clue of what table manner is and moreover (the more important) don't know how to live in this world. (HSK and I understand our frustration)
  • The one with Olivia and Jennifer was special. We went to "siou fey yeung" aka "little fat lamb" for hot pot. *Miammm* Afterwards, we went karaoke at K100, just us three and had a good time.
  • The one with my family was the best. Lots of good things to eat and great gifts (mostly money).
New Year
  • A whole afternoon of playing mah jong. It wasn't that bad. I didn't lose that much money compared to my grand-ma and great-aunt.
  • The same day, we celebrated my dad's 60th birthday. (Omg he's getting old. Next year will be my mother's turn and several years later will be mine. *headache and heartache* Will can I do??? I'll have wrinkles... OMG!!!) A great dinner prepared by my aunt (the nice one and not the wannabe-the-best-and-on-top-of-everyone-else one). And apparently, for someones' 60th birthday we're suppose to give him/her a memorable gift. My family gave him a small statue made of 24k gold. Nancy and I bought him a watch from Burberry. Yeah! A lot of money spent. But what can I do, it's only once in a lifetime. Wait till your 60th birthday, maybe I'll give you something expensive as well. Uh uh uh!!! Don't be that happy yet. I do expect to receive something too. *thinking seriously* For example...a...diamond. *wink wink*
Now, I'm waiting desperately for chinese new year.
I know that we're in recession, but don't be cheap and give me more $$$. More money = more blessings, right??? Remember!!! Show me some love from you.
