Marcellinette

Saturday, September 12th, was a Marcellinette get-together (only very close ones were invited) organized by myself. If you take a look at the photo album (already posted), you’ll notice that people *in a disappointed voice* wasn’t very…enthusiast…not everybody showed up.
- Tammie didn’t show up for the afternoon, but did join us for Starbucks.
- Viviane came on time and said that we’re lucky that she did. WTH??? How are we lucky because you came on time? Aren’t you suppose to arrive on time in any case? It’s just normal. Everyone should.
- Viviane’s boyfriend continuously refuse to hang-out with us. The reason – he doesn’t have a bus pass to get to Montreal and doesn’t want to pay for a ticket (omg, you cheap Longueuillien). The only way to have him come was if Maxime go all the way to Longueuil to get him, solution banned, he was working. Nancy offered to pay back his bus ticket…but still nooo…we have to go to Longueuil to bring him the money, because he doesn’t even have a penny in his pocket…why???…because the control-freak, Viviane, keeps all his cards and money (not that he has a lot, but still)…*angry/frustrated/pissed* Why were we doing all this for her/him? Forget about him girlz. He’s not worth our effort.
- HSK had to apologize to cancel the table reservation.
- Spent more than an hour in The Baie trying to find a pair of pants under 50$. Why??? Very simple. Viviane got a 50$ gift card from an unknown person and wants to buy 2 pair of pants with that small amount of money. How is that possible? Seems like it is…because apparently on the top floor you can find all sorts of cheap-out of fashion-retarded clothes.
- Kanda is a sushi and korean bbq buffet (implying that each person pay a certain price and eat as porc as they like). *wink wink* For 5 people (4 students – 23$ & 1 adult – 26$), we were billed for 135$ + tips. Me still being a student…is only 23$ + tax + tips. 30$ is more than enough right? Nancy (not a student, but still have her student id) and Maxime (not a student anymore) paid 60$ together which is fine too. HSK (a student for sure) paid 27$ in total. Viviane (not student anymore, but still have her Dawson id in her 7 year old wallet) wanted to pay with her credit card (which is obvious for a person who pays everything with her card, even a 1$ soup at Dunkin Donuts) and keep the cash, but didn’t go through as expected (busted her limit again). Finally, she gave the cash to the cashier and paid her part with her card –> 135 – 30 – 60 – 27 = 12$. Yes. She only paid the remaining 12$ and didn’t leave any tips. O_O She was taking advantage of us and make us look very awkward. *headache*
That being said…here’s another day of people not being thankful of what I did for them. Anyway, I still laughed a lot, so…it’s fine. I won’t complain. *nod* I’m trying to be satisfied with what I get…I’ll be a happier person…I’m zen from now on. *humming one of Celine’s songs – That’s The Way It Is*
